Our Story

When Alyssa moved to Arizona she immediately became inseparable with her bestie Mia where they spent countless hours perusing Tik Tok and multiple dating sites. On one of these nights Alyssa came across Taylor dancing on Tik Tok. Upon opening her page she realized Taylor too lived in Arizona and immediately began thinking that she had to meet her as she was just her "type". After a few short weeks they matched on bumble. Alyssa immediately called Mia to tell her the great news. However, the excitement was short lived as the conversation was dry and the thrill of it for Alyssa ran out quite quickly. A few more weeks went by and the two matched again, but this time on Tinder. Alyssa took this second time matching as a sign to give it another shot in hope this time things would take, and they sure did.Taylor and Alyssa spent the next three weeks texting, snap chatting and Facetiming constantly. They finally had their first date April 20, 2023 with dinner at The Porch in Gilbert, followed by a night out at Whiskey Row dancing and introducing Alyssa to almost all of Taylor's friends. Taylor was promoting for Whiskey Row at the time and as a regular in the Arizona dance community she thought it would be best to just jump right in the deep end with Alyssa by bringing her out and showing her what her life consisted of. Alyssa, who is not the most social, outgoing ray of sunshine, was overwhelmed to say the least with meeting almost 50 new people on a first date, but mesmerized with the dance community and with how much fun it was to watch Taylor and her friends and to get to be apart of this as well.Following their first date, Taylor began to get cold feet and "ghosted" Alyssa for about two weeks giving her short responses, if any, and constantly making up excuses as to why she could not hang out again. While Alyssa continued on with life messaging Jaclyn and Mia about her confusion as she thought things went well and the first date was great. Taylor ran to Shelbey stating that she wasn't sure if her and Alyssa would be a good fit as Taylor spent her time in the country dance scene and Alyssa was an avid Scottsdale bar girlie and that Alyssa might be too good to be true. Shelbey quickly knocked some sense into Taylor and told her she should give it a chance.Taking Shelbey's excellent advice, Taylor re-surfaced in Alyssa's messages and their journey to forever truly began. After about a month of spending majority of their free time together, Taylor moved into Jaclyn and Ryan's with Alyssa.Over the next year and a half, the two fully emerged themselves in each other's lives, social circles, friendships and families. Taylor and Alyssa both full of life and love spent their time with friends, dancing, pool days, river days, shopping, cooking together, traveling, enjoying lazy days in bed and everything in between. Falling more and more in love with one another as the days went on, they truly believed their honeymoon phase was never ending. Until it all came to a very abrupt end almost a year into their relationship.In the early spring, Alyssa's Crohns disease flared up to the point it caused severe health complications putting her in the hospital and ultimately resulting in her needing emergency surgery and a 6+ week stay at the hospital. Alyssa having ongoing struggles with her Crohn's disease was nothing new to Taylor, but after 3 days in the hospital with no answers and a sudden rush of doctors and nurses to Alyssa's room telling them Alyssa needed emergency surgery right then and there or she wasn't going to make it flipped their lives upside down. Taylor spent the next 6+ weeks in the hospital with Alyssa day and night, never leaving her side. Despite the hospitals visiting hours and rules about overnight guests, Taylor spent every night with Alyssa no matter what. She took care of Alyssa day in and day out even while recovering from her own surgery on her foot. Although they were showered with love, support, and a long list of visitors who came and went the two spent more alone time together then most couples ever do and while they did drive each other a little crazy some days it truly nourished and created the unbreakable bond they share to this day.When Alyssa finally got discharged from the hospital, Taylor continued to take care of and support her and help nurse her back to health. As they tried to return to life as it was before the hospital they both knew they could not. They knew that even though they had only been together for a year at this point they had already endured so many of life's ups, downs, and all arounds it felt like they had spent a lifetime together and forever would never be enough.On their one year anniversary they went engagement ring shopping and Alyssa picked out her dream ring. Little did Alyssa know, Taylor returned the next month and bought her the ring of her dreams. When it came time for Alyssa's 27th birthday trip Taylor knew this was when she wanted to pop the question. What was supposed to be a day at the beach with Jaclyn and Ryan relaxing, making dance videos and taking cute photos turned into the best day of their lives as Taylor asked and Alyssa said Yes on July 19, 2024.Since then the two have been traveling, spending time with friends, dancing, preparing for their move to Florida, loving each other more and more every day and planning their wedding celebration! Now, with less than a year to go they anxiously await their big day and cannot wait to celebrate it with all of those they hold so near and dear to their hearts!

When you are asking when I  fell in love with these two as people and a couple the list is pretty endless whether its 3AM taco convos, or pool side Oklahoma, I  always feel a sense of understanding and being surrounded by beautiful, strong, kindred spirits anytime we are together. I  have so much love and respect for the both of you and what you bring to the table, and how well you compliment each other. There is no place I'd rather be than standing beside you on your big day.
When I  am around you two it is like being with family, the best kind of family, the family that you "choose". The friends you choose to surround yourself with every single day because they make you laugh, make you a better person, and they truly bring joy to your life. As independent as she is, Taylor has come in and rocked her world in the most positive and beautiful way and I  have never been more genuinely happy for her. Aloha I’m Kala’e. Hands down Taylor’s favorite cousin. Period. Been watching this girl since she was a baby and as she got older our bond turned into a genuine brother sister relationship. 
One of my favorite memories with her (she would agree) would be hanging out getting drunk under the gazebo at Ama’s (grandma’s) house on a random night. I asked if she was down (as she always is) and that was it! We were drinking Tito’s and raspberry Ice tea from Food Land with a side of their famous fried chicken. I was off from work and we felt like hanging out. Just the two of us. We were laughing up a storm listening to music just me and her. We have many memories together (not only drinking) but that memory is special because of the innocence and joy we shared enjoying each others company. There’s not too many people I can hang out with one on one and have a damn good time. I’m genuinely happy for her and Alyssa. Taylor and I  first met during our time in the Air Force while stationed in Utah, where we quickly bonded through shared experiences, long hours working together, and our love of laughing at dumb people. We have had ups, downs, and all arounds together but through it all our friendship has only gotten stronger. Except for all the times she has flashed her tits to me or I  have carried her naked from the toilet to bed, but we don't need to get into that right now. I  have watched her grow into the incredible person she is today, and I  couldn't be happier to celebrate this next chapter in her life with Alyssa. I  love them both so much and wish for nothing short of happiness and success for them together.

Hey Everyone, I'm Amanda! Tay and I  becoming friends is a funny story. Ask me sometime! Being friends with Tay, there is never a dull moment. You never know what you are gonna get. She might take her shirt off, give you a lap dance, or try to throw a hydro flask at your head lol. I  was there the moment she met Alyssa for the first time. It was instant chemistry and their love just grew from that moment on. Alyssa came and danced with all of us crazy people and kept coming back around. We have a room block at two hotels next to each other close to the wedding location. Please use either link provided below to book under our block. Rooms in the room block are a first come, first serve basis. If you have any issues booking or there are no longer rooms for the block please reach out to Alyssa as soon as possible as we can add more rooms to the block if need be. The Hilton rooms consist of 2 Queen beds and the Marriott rooms are Studio Kings. For those traveling from out of state if you are looking for others to go in on rooms together please reach out and we can let you know who else is attending from your state! For those looking to venture out a little further than your local Commerce area Downtown Detroit is about 35 minutes away and is filled with fun things to do! - Detroit Institute of Arts-Motown Museum-Campus Martius Park-Greektown-The Spirit of Detroit Statue: The symbol of the city-MGM Grand Detroit, Motorcity Casino Hotel, Hollywood Casino at Greektown (Casinos)-Tons and tons of great places to eat and drink, there is truly a vibe for everyone in Detroit! -Fun Fact: Downtown Detroit is Taylor's favorite place to go when the couple returns to Michigan for visits
